My Music Story

I've been in the music world since August of 2007. What lure me to the music world was that one day I came across someone playing Linkin Park "In The End" on piano and I just had to learn that song. So I went out and brought a Yamaha DGX230AD as my very first keyboard. I spent a couple of months trying to learn that song but no luck in completing it. It wasn't until I sold my Yamaha to a friend of mine and purchase a Yamaha CP33 keyboard to progressively start playing the keyboard on average of 6-8 hours a week for about 3 months. I started to learn some of the classical music like Moonlight Sonata and Fur Elise to see if it would be easier to learn. Comes to find out it was about the same as learning any other songs. After about 7-8 months of playing the keyboard, I learned parts of a couple of songs and completed my first full song, "Right Here Waiting For You" by Richard Marx. During this time I've notice I was starting to learn and understanding things a lot easier. For example, my logical and critical thinking has greatly improve to help me in my programming and calculus courses. About a year after I started playing the keyboard, I started to composed my first song "Stepping Stones". It wasn't long after until I composed another 2 songs. Down below you will find a music player that has all the songs I've have composed along with songs I've meeet and composed with by Paul Snyder. Enjoy!
